Balinese Cussing 101: video of 27 swear words to remember

Write these down! YouTube comic personality Sacha Stevenson is at it again, but this time she hit up Bali with one of her latest humor videos, “27 Balinese Swear Words.” 

“Today, I’m going to teach you 27 Balinese words that you should never say, or you’re going to get your white ass kicked,” said Stevenson as she opened the video.

Filmed at a hotel in Ubud, Stevenson spends the video taking us through some pretty explicit phrases that will come in handy during our next Bali bar brawl or traffic jam. Some of our favorite phrases Stevenson taught us today: you penis head, you’re like a lizard and you eat like Satan. 

In the video’s summary, Stevenson explained her motivation for making the video—that it can be helpful to all those bule in relationships with Balinese: 

One of my funniest youtube comments was from a bule “hey! I loved your Sundanese swear word video! Now I know what my wife has been saying to me all this time!” So this one is for those bule spouses out there in Bali!

Stevenson collaborated on the video with the humor pack Grup Gedebong Goyang, who are all sporting Tolak Reklamasi Bali t-shirts in the video for a subtle statement.
