We might actually get some rain today in Bali

Word on the street is that the rains may hit Bali in five different regions today, says Tribun Bali. 

Rainy season isn’t always our favorite, but Bali’s been notably dry lately so we’ll happily trade in our sun-bathing time for poncho time. 

The areas are Tabanan, Magupura, Gianyar, Almapura and Singaraja, according to forecasts from Denpasar’s regional office of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).  But don’t get your heavy duty ponchos out yet, it’s just supposed to be light rain. 

Cloudy weather for four other regions is predicted: Negara, Semarapura, Bagli and Denpasar.

Bali’s going through a severe water shortage problem at the moment, that hasn’t got Bali’s governor thrilled and has even made some villagers in eastern Bali walk 5K just to get their household supply. This island needs all the rain it can get.
