Ok at least someone is happy from a long dry season, cheers to Bali’s wine growers
While this extended dry season is making a lot of people suffer, Buleleng’s wine farmers have something to smile about.
This stretch of dry season has helped wine prices soar, at a quoted amount of Rp 4,000 to Rp 8,000 per kilogram, according to the Bali Post.
Grape growers in Bali’s north say harvests in the pass would usually yield one ton, while now they are reportedly seeing an increased amount of five tons. Hats off to these farmers, here’s to a local industry we’re especially happy to see succeed.
